Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst

Location: Santiago, Dominican Republic

Responsibilities: The Financial Reporting Analyst will prepare accounting and analysis activities to support Business Unit Finance, SG&A (Selling general and administrative) Finance, and FP&A (Financial planning and analysis).

• Perform month-end close tasks to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results.

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.

• Produce and analyze weekly and monthly key metrics.

• Prepare financial forecasts and annual budgets.

• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls (SOX), or other financial reporting standards.

• Conduct or support various business initiatives and projects including pricing, bids, sales exceptions, commission adjustments, testing, and other analytical work.

• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Month-end Accounting and reporting

• Financial forecasts and analysis

• Other accounting activities as assigned.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.

• English Proficiency.

• Five years or more of related experience is required.

• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and present results

• Proficient in accounting and financial analysis software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
